Hello all, Eleanor here, beloved pup of the Griffins.
My mom and dad told me they started a blog, so I wanted to add my two cents.
We are all having a mildly difficult time adjusting to life as a threesome. Sure, we use to hang out all the time, but full-time living together is different.
I have no doubt had it the hardest. I went from a huge house, with a majority of eight men adoring me and loving me and petting me, with a huge back yard to run in and chase squirrels and cats, with stairs and my own bed, to a one bedroom apartment on the second floor with only a couch for a bed.
I have also been left several times. My parents would leave and come back days later telling me all about the wonders of the world and the great things they had seen. I did get to spend lots of time with my new grandparents, which was wonderful, a mini vacation of my own. Still, I missed them greatly, I was feeling like we weren't really experiencing "home" together. So, I took the matter into my own paws.
Mom and dad started to feel bad for me after I would grunt and play lethargic and not eat (...I'm a bit of a drama queen), so they finally took me on a road trip to Louisiana. Boy, oh boy, do I love the country! I got to run and see cows and sunbathe. My parents, upon seeing my joy of having more freedom, decided to shape up and start taking me out every night, walking me by these strange quacking animals along the river. I even get some off-leash time now...in the city! Saturday, we went to the Farmer's Market together. I wasn't allowed to walk the shops, but I did get to walk around the outskirts. Baby steps, dad said. This past week has been great, and adjusting is getting much easier.
I've been told we're moving to a house soon where I will get my own room and have lots more space to run around, inside and out. When dad got married, I wasn't too sure about things, but now I could not be happier for my parent pups. (And they tell me I might have a sister soon...a puppy sister!) Our family has emBARKed on such a great adventure!
